BI-CAP is hiring for the following positions:

BELTRAMI COUNTY

Weatherization Residential Energy Auditor:

For BI-CAP Weatherization Department - Bemidji Office. Full-time, $16.95-17.95 DOQ. Conduct onsite home inspections, write technical specifications, manage contractors, develop client relationships and is proficient with data entry.

BI-CAP Weatherization has an impressive reputation, experience and an arsenal of proprietary knowledge. Training can be completed on-the-job however, preference will be given to candidates already in possession of a BPI Certification. This is a unique opportunity for anyone with a background in Construction, Weatherization or Sales in a related field. Candidate must have proficient typing skills to enter data into electronic databases. Candidate must be able to crawl into tight spaces for inspections and climb ladders.

Minimum qualifications include: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent training and experience.  A combination of two years of experience in Energy Audits or Inspections through experience and/or education. Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification preferred. A valid Minnesota driver’s license is required. Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Must be able to complete a DHS background check. Head Start Teacher Assistant:

for BI-CAP Head Start in Bemidji. 40 hrs/wk for the school year. Requires Preschool CDA; or enrolled in a CDA to be completed within 2 years; or enrolled in a program leading to an AA or BA in early education. See job description below for more information.


Early Head Start Teacher:

for BI-CAP Head Start in Bemidji. 40 hrs/wk. Requires 2 or 4 year degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education; or Infant/Toddler CDA with experience teaching preschool-age children. See job description below for more information.

 

CASS COUNTY

Head Start Teacher: for BI-CAP Head Start in Walker. 40 hours per week; through the school year. Requires a 2 or 4 year degree in Early Childhood Education; or a degree in a field related to early childhood education and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children. Head Start Teacher Assistant Float: for BI-CAP Head Start in Backus. 32hrs/wk for the school year. May float at other Cass County Head Start locations. Requires Preschool CDA; or enrolled in a CDA to be completed within 2 years; or enrolled in a program leading to an AA or BA in early education. See job description below for more information.

Head Start Teacher Assistant Float Long-Term Substitute: for BI-CAP Head Start in Remer. 28 hours per week; late Fall-Winter for the 2017-2018 school year. Preschool CDA and experience preferred. See job description below for more information.

Head Start Teacher Assistant Long-Term Substitute: for BI-CAP Head Start in Backus. 40 hours per week; early September – end of October for the 2017-2018 school year. Preschool CDA and experience preferred. See job description below for more information.
